What format are the photos in?
All gautengpics.co.za photos are mainly in JPG format. The larger TIFF format can also be supplied on demand. Remember, being graphic artists, we can convert images to almost any format be it for Windows or Mac.

How do I purchase these photos?
Browse through the different categories or use the Search Box at the top. The Search Box gives you more variety and is quicker. Click on the photo or 'Photo Details' to see a larger photo and details. Click on 'Add To Cart' . You can continue browsing and adding more photos to your shopping cart or proceed to payment by clicking on 'View Cart' under Options.

Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are received and processed. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.

Can I submit photos to sell?
Contact us to become a partner. It will be a pleasure for gautengpics.co.za to publish and sell your photos.

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the gautengpics.co.za photos that I download?
Yes. While gautengpics.co.za offers a lot of freedom and a wide range of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. A distinction is made between private and commercial use.

If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, an unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos to the value of your subscription on our site at no extra charge. This excludes the video footage and sound libraries and vica versa.

Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.

Why register as a User?
Registering as a gautengpics.com user is optional, but when you do you register as a user you will be able to use special features like lightbox (shopping cart), email of selected photos to your friends, and more.

I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos gautengpics.co.za using your details, send a support request.
